Smoked garlic flakes – mild & aromatic

Smoked garlic is the A mild, less intense alternative to conventional garlic flakes. The garlic, traditionally smoked by hand with beechwood and possessing an amber hue, offers a comparatively mild and Subtle garlic aroma with a pleasant smoky note Smoked garlic is therefore ideal for dishes that should only have a moderate garlic flavor. It is versatile and lends salads, soups, sauces, as well as meat dishes and vegetable stir-fries an equally pleasant garlic aroma with a subtly spicy smoky note.

We use absolutely no additives in our smoked garlic. It is free of flavor enhancers, salts, and preservatives. 

Use of smoked garlic

For fish: Prawns and fish, such as wild salmon, taste wonderful with a white wine and garlic sauce and a little smoked garlic. To make it, sauté the fish with some vegetables, deglaze with white wine, and season with smoked garlic flakes, salt, and pepper.

For the vegetable stir-fry: Roasted vegetables, such as mushrooms or broccoli, can be enhanced with a little smoked garlic. Simply sauté the vegetables briefly in a pan and then lightly fry them with the smoked garlic, salt, and pepper in olive oil or ghee.

For garlic dips: Smoked garlic is wonderful for making a delicious garlic dip. Simply mix yogurt or quark with the garlic, finely chopped, peeled and seeded cucumber, salt and pepper. Stir well.
